MEMORY TO MANDELA

                            Nelson Mandela
(A poem written 8 years back)

Born on July 18, 1918 in the village of Mvezo

Stepping paces in politics to amend prevalent scenario

Fought for equality of two races, continually
Raising his voice for rights of blacks, sincerely

Led movements against the White jackals
Opposing their brutal and exploiting tackles

Dared even to get imprisoned almost for 3 decades
Passing troublesome life in Robben island's dark shades

Was sure to eliminate color based partiality
Hoping to succeed on it with his radical activity

Accomplished finally his mission of equality of rights
Being freed from prison, due to of supporting sights

Governed the country, with his presidency
Making stable, the nation's situation, evidently

Changed those brutal groups to positive viewpoints
Uniting all groups, classes to a common point

Led the country forward to a success height
Developing nation with it's future bright

Acted as guardian for international politics
Walking on the political pathway of democratics

Contributed his whole life for nation and nationality
Teaching everyone to live along with love, peace and unity

Occurred the unfortunate, regard his health
Prolonging respiratory infection, loss of hygienic wealth

Admitted to hospital time to time to be cured
Having critical health and his health unsecured

Defeated with time, couldn't win death
Stopping heart beats and no breaths

Passed away, at the age of 95,on 2013 5th December
Praising your deeds, to you, we’ll always remember

Been icon to humanity, greatness of your benevolence
Saluting you Mandela, and my heartfelt condolence!!
